Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Business Development Representative is responsible for generating new leads for a digital safety management software solution to our targeted customer demographic. The Business Development Representative's duties entail:
- Making cold calls to prospective Leads
- Developing and executing email outreach campaigns
- Reaching out to prospective Leads through Linkedin
- Working within Irwin's Safety's CRM framework and leveraging technology to drive high-volume efficient outreach activities
- Qualifying prospective Leads and generating product demonstration meetings between the qualified Lead and the Irwin's Account Executive
The Business Development Representative must hold the following competencies:
- Robust experience working with CRM systems
- Experience specifically working with Hubspot CRM is an asset
- Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, LinkedIn
- Demonstrable sales fundamentals: active listening, qualifying questions, understanding customers wants/needs, translating features in to advantages, concise communication skills
- Must be comfortable with cold calling
- Must be self starter
Additional Details regarding this position:
- This is a work-from-home position
- The compensation is heavily weighted by commissions earned
- The business development representative's success will be determined by the number of qualified Leads generated
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
