Business Development Representative - SAAS

Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Business Development Representative is responsible for generating new leads for a digital safety management software solution to our targeted customer demographic. The Business Development Representative's duties entail:

  • Making cold calls to prospective Leads
  • Developing and executing email outreach campaigns
  • Reaching out to prospective Leads through Linkedin
  • Working within Irwin's Safety's CRM framework and leveraging technology to drive high-volume efficient outreach activities
  • Qualifying prospective Leads and generating product demonstration meetings between the qualified Lead and the Irwin's Account Executive

The Business Development Representative must hold the following competencies:

  • Robust experience working with CRM systems
  • Experience specifically working with Hubspot CRM is an asset
  • Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, LinkedIn
  • Demonstrable sales fundamentals: active listening, qualifying questions, understanding customers wants/needs, translating features in to advantages, concise communication skills
  • Must be comfortable with cold calling
  • Must be self starter

Additional Details regarding this position:

  • This is a work-from-home position
  • The compensation is heavily weighted by commissions earned
  • The business development representative's success will be determined by the number of qualified Leads generated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
