Summary:

The position is responsible for collaborating with leaders across a 2,000+ person organization to support strategy around how to drive organizational effectiveness through collaboration, sharing best practices, ensuring effective change management, productivity, and execution. This position also serves as a support partner to all leaders within the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Executive Team ensuring alignment with enterprise culture, engagement, and talent strategies in partnership with Human Resources.

Essential Accountabilities:

• Supports the execution of divisional Priorities, Key Initiatives with OPEX, AD&T, and SSP - provides insights on leadership and employee development to include skills analysis, employee engagement and collaboration, culture and behavioral change management required to achieve these strategies in partnership with Human Resources.

• Supports strategy and goal setting through communication and collaboration to drive alignment and improve organizational effectiveness.

• Shares best practices for communicating business goals with partners across the divisions.

• Assists in communicating with leaders and employees in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.

• Serves as liaison and advisor to staff and leaders regarding team and functional area climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning.

• Provides coordination, and support for interdivisional activities. Supports and sometimes leads change management efforts.

• Partners with Finance to ensure budgetary alignment and future planning needs.

• Fosters an equitable, inclusive, and diverse workforce by assisting leadership in the development of IDEA strategies aligned to divisional strategies. Provides divisional and departmental support in the development of these strategies.

• Provides department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve team engagement, planning, inter divisional coordination, and focus.

• Identifies and helps solve systemic problems or opportunities within business, departmental or leadership processes.

• Maintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Twelve (12) or more cumulative years of experience are required, or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field with a minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated experience in business strategy, organizational strategy, and planning.

• Demonstrated skills and ability to lead change through influence.

• Experienced in financial and non-financial measurement of business goals and data analysis.

• Communicates effectively in writing and presentation, adjusts to fit the audience and the message.

• Relates well to a wide variety of diverse work styles and team members and comfortably confronts and works through conflict.

• Well organized, resourceful and is able to successfully work on multiple tasks at once.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.

• Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.
