The Azure CXP (CXP) team is the product engineering, service delivery, onboarding, and customer success unit in Azure engineering, responsible for deploying and managing customers' mission-critical workloads; providing complete customer care through in-product experiences and platforms and strategic customer support delivery; identifying product opportunities and gaps and then driving innovations and improvements into the product.
We are looking for a high performing Technical Business Insights Lead to be a key leader in the next chapter of growth and impact for the CXP organization. The ideal candidate has a blend of technical and business acumen, strategy, customer facing experience, research, and compete, while embracing cross organizational partnering. You have to love customers, really really love customers, and how to drive research and insights excellence that ultimately delivers amazing customer outcomes/experiences and turns MSFT cloud customers into fans!ResponsibilitiesCORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research Center of Excellence strategy and execution: Lead a high performing team of Researchers and Program Managers in evolving the Azure CSAT Program to be Cloud wide in nature, as well as ensuring execution excellence of the 2x yearly CSAT waves.
  • Compete: Driving the compete strategy across CXP in partnership with the Program Management Office (PMO) and other CXP orgs who have nascent compete efforts. Partner across C+AI on compete initiatives and use of compete data and insights to drive high quality decision making.
  • Business insights and data for customer experiences: Ensure appropriate data and insights are surfaced, at the right altitude and in a timely manner, to enable leadership and stakeholders to make data driven decisions on behalf of high quality customer outcomes and experiences. The breadth of partners in this area will include cross CXP, cross C+AI, and cross MSFT.
  • Business insights and data for internal experiences: Ensure appropriate data and insights are surfaced, in partnership with CXP orgs such as Azure Reliability (AzRel), to enable leadership and stakeholders to make data driven decisions on behalf of internal operations and efficiencies.

  • Special Projects: On an as needed basis, you will be asked to design and deliver high-impact, cross-team projects to meet the changing business environment. You will demonstrate successful project management and cross CXP and cross C+AI ability to partner.
Qualifications
  • 10+ recent years of (or combo) program management, business management, strategy, business planning, and/or engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer facing role(s)
  • Research background and experience a plus.
  • Experience as part of a high growth organization.
  • Passion for diversity & inclusion demonstrated by active advocacy or allyship in prior roles and/or outside of work.
  • Detail-oriented, strategic, and data-driven - ability to work with both quantitative & qualitative data, understanding immediate roadblocks, urgent asks, and long-term initiatives.
  • Independent and self-managing - thrive in a dynamic environment without a lot of guidance and manage ambiguity and competing priorities while producing optimal results.
  • Strong communicator and can influence others through your expertise - able to use logical and strategic thinking to motivate a diverse organization towards a collective goal with precision. Concise and to the point. P ossess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in an approachable manner across a geographically dispersed audience.
