Role Description:
Reporting directly to and working closely with the Business Analytics Manager, the Business Intelligence Developer will serve as a crucial individual contributor to the Business Analytics and Intelligence department. Commensurate with Podimetrics' mission, the primary objective for the Business Intelligence Developer is to improve patients' lives through the early detection and prevention of diabetic foot complications by providing strategic business intelligence and analytics across the organization to support timely, data-driven decision making. This technical and collaborative role will work with members of the Analytics and Data Science teams to ensure data sets and models are established and easily accessible. The Business Intelligence Developer will also support implementation of dashboards enterprise-wide, enhance automated reporting capabilities, and make data available to help inform strategic business decisions and proactively recognize areas for operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate and reliable business intelligence deliverables and reporting to Sales, Clinical, and Executive Leadership Teams according to agreed-upon timelines without errors.
• Design, build, and maintain self-service dashboards within Looker (Google) and custom queries in Google BigQuery.
• Develop customized, automated reporting utilizing Python or other similar language.
• Identify and manage sophisticated quantitative analyses in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Maintain an understanding of the company's data warehouse, ensuring data integrity and quality in all reports and dashboards.
• Consult on new and existing development efforts to ensure appropriate data is captured in a reliable, scalable, and sustainable way, including contribution to data warehouse design.
• Conduct audits of business intelligence resources, verifying the fidelity of data throughout external facing deliverables.
• Utilize knowledge of business context to translate business requirements into technical requirements, anticipate and contribute to strategic analyses, and develop insights to inform operational enhancements.
• Maintain Business Intelligence software and documentation.

Qualifications:

• At least 3+ years of SQL experience
• Experience with Python and utilizing libraries such as pandas, numpy, json, and requests for the development of custom reporting and analyses
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, data warehousing, and ETL frameworks
• Experience designing data visualizations with Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI
• Ability to create intuitive, aesthetic data visualizations that provide value
• Familiarity developing and integrating with RESTful web services and API is preferred
• Familiarity working with GCP or AWS is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication
