About This Job

The Business Line Systems Analyst position will be part of the Commercial Banking Technology and Data Team. The primary function of the team is to support and develop the Commercial Bank's lending, accounting, imaging, process flow and reporting applications. We are looking for a team player to fill a web application and workflow developer position using the Temenos Journey/Avoka software platform. This position will partner with the Information Technology department and will be dedicated to the Commercial Line of Business. In addition, you will have system administrator responsibilities, including training, documentation, requirements gathering, user setup and issue resolution. This position will have a unique blend of UX design and internal customer interaction.

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for capturing business requirements, design, programming, testing, and implementation in the workflow application
  • Provide technical direction, maintenance, and support of the Temenos Journey application
  • Serve as a business and systems resource, implementing technical solutions to business needs
  • Assist Managers/Supervisors with various systems projects as requested
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs
  • Monitor systems and databases for functionality and availability to users, troubleshoot, and respond to user inquiries
  • Research, analyze, assist with the design, testing, and implementation of applications, sometimes working in cooperation with our internal CBI I/S departments & vendors
  • Act as the Project Manager for small to medium sized projects that include implementation of Contact Center software, mergers, acquisitions, as well as other initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required
  • Web development experience
  • Strong computer skills, specifically with OO Programming, SQL, JavaScript, XML, and WSDL
  • Experience working within a defined Agile SDLC
  • Relationship building skills to work effectively with a variety of individuals at all levels throughout the bank
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook


Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 2+ years' experience in Systems Analyst role developing systems in support of sales analysis and reporting
