Business Operations Manager - TechOps

The Business Operations Manager (BOM), TechOps is an experienced project manager and key resource responsible for optimizing the Technology Operations Leadership Team rhythm of the business. As a trusted member of the Technology Operations Leadership Team, the TechOps BOM supports and drives strategic and annual TechOps project planning and budgeting. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and facilitate ongoing rituals, communications, and processes for the TechOps Leadership Team
• Continuously improve the TechOps Leadership Team’s velocity, performance, teamwork, and transparency
• Identify key stakeholders for TechOps initiatives and drive ongoing, rigorous status communications with stakeholders through the year, tracking progress against annual goals and initiatives
• Manage the ROB calendar, in coordination with the studio-wide ROB calendar, for the TechOps organization
• Support and drive annual TechOps planning and budgeting rituals as part of the studio annual operating planning process
• Collaborate with Technical Program Managers to reconcile TechOps goals, understand competing priorities and team workloads, and identify and escalate risks to TechOps leadership
• Facilitate the alignment of TechOps projects with the company's strategic initiatives, and support TechOps leadership in the execution of those projects and goals
• Actively reassess processes and facilitate change towards continuous improvement
• Craft communications (email, presentations, etc.) for TechOps to the TechOps team and broader studio
• Support the TechOps Leadership Team in the creation and maintenance of the org’s multi-year project road map
• Develop, refine, reinforce, and embody Bungie’s culture and values
• Help shape Business Operations excellence at Bungie
• Accountable to the Senior Director of TechOps
• Report to the Senior Business Operations Manager, Development

• Outstanding project management skills: building and maintaining work backlogs; tracking, scheduling, and driving projects to completion

• Exemplary written and oral communication skills; ability to deliver executive presentations and studio-wide communications
• Proven ability to develop and support high functioning teams
• Proven experience in rapidly learning new methods and processes and adapting them to critical business needs
• Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills; ability to drive high-value meetings through challenging discussions and build clear action items and accountability
• Possessing a high degree of emotional intelligence
