The LATAM Regional Team is looking for a dedicated Operations Specialist who will be working with a variety of stakeholders from across the company overseeing the day-to-day operations of Communications community in LATAM. This role will be responsible for project management and execution, driving efficient rhythms of the business and connecting global, regional and market level operations. This is a role for a solution-oriented and proactive professional who understands the importance of detail and who thrives working across multiple projects and teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of business operations including fiscal planning, procurement, compliance, vendor and contractor management.
  • Create and maintain a rhythm for the business to ensure connection and continuity of workflows and priorities.
  • Participation in cross team workstreams to align and monitor activities and deliverables.
  • Deployment and management of goal setting tools, such as objectives and key results ( OKRs), including reporting.
  • Assists in preparation of plans, events and materials for community engagements.
  • Document evolving processes and procedures.
  • Tracking and communicating project status.
  • Ensure team is compliant with all privacy, finance and procurement guidelines.

Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 1+ year(s) experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles

    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a business management and operations field providing efficient business operational support and working seamlessly with stakeholders, teams, and leaders across diverse cultures.
  • Less than 25% travel required (domestic & international).
  • Knowledge and experience driving business operations, including fiscal planning, procurement, compliance community engagement, and preparation of briefings, speeches, and reports.
  • Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Operating expertise with a track record of working collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
  • Organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively and autonomously with multiple business partners, virtual teams, vendors, and agency partners.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience scaling and delivering programs globally.
  • Ability to effectively build partnerships and drive alignment to achieve group-wide goals.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across organizational boundaries.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and changing environment and can adapt plans accordingly.
  • Growth mindset with proven track record for new, innovative approaches and smart risk taking.

Business Management IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $64,800 - $115,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $86,400 - $129,600 per year.
