Business Program Manager III

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in program or project management, developing and delivering educational programs
• Experience managing cross-functional projects

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in a team that owns multiple, time-sensitive projects with competing priorities
  
• Proven ability to influence others and lead change across cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels including the executive leadership team, peers, and managers
• Strong track record in working with and managing cross-functional stakeholders in complex programs

gTech's Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team empowers Product Areas (PAs) to optimize outsourced operations while reducing risks and driving efficiency through the enforcement of Google best practices and policies. Our collaboration across Google leads to streamlined processes, minimizing administrative burdens and optimizing the extended workforce (xW) experience. We ensure Google's policies and guidelines are consistently adhered to.

The Solutions Delivery team makes it easy for Google managers to engage with the contingent workforce, providing training, standards, and guidelines to minimize Google's risk and offering data and insights on planning and strategy for new and existing engagements. We provide processes, tools and know-how to support Googlers through the lifecycle of contingent workforce engagements, so our businesses can make informed decisions to put the right talent in the right locations.

In this role, you will work with a cross-functional team to design, launch, and oversee the execution of a comprehensive education program for all employees managing or interacting with Alphabet's extended workforce and suppliers. You will play a crucial part in shaping how Alphabet continues to engage with our Extended Workforce Solutions (xWF). This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to influence how we interact with our xWF and suppliers across Alphabet.

Your role will include content development/curation, curriculum design, program roll-out, key performance indicator tracking, and communications. You will drive the scoping of the education program, training priorities and allocation of resources, and act as a program manager to deliver and continuously improve the education program.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale education program roll-out across Alphabet, working with cross-functional teams to gather stakeholder needs and and deliver against them.
  
• Manage concurrent, large-scale initiatives from start to finish. Deliver effective, strategic communications directed toward a variety of stakeholder groups/audiences.
  
• Drive the identification, assessment, and development of skills, attitudes, or knowledge through needs analysis, instructional design, and curriculum development and education program roll-out.
  
• Support scoping of curriculum, training priorities and allocation of resources. Understand the context and implications for business decisions based on implemented learning strategies and content.
  
• Use data to show effectiveness of our education program, including end-user satisfaction enhancements and knowledge transfer. Drive cross-functional feedback collection and propose and/or implement changes for continuous improvement.
