Capture Manager - Federal Sector

The Opportunity 

As we achieve FedRAMP Moderate certification in early 2025, we're expanding our focus on the federal market to help government agencies enhance their security posture with cutting-edge identity technology.

We are hiring a Capture Manager to help jumpstart our federal business. This role will be instrumental in securing contracts with government agencies and ensuring the success of our federal initiatives. This position is remote, with a preference for candidates in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

What You Can Expect to Do:

Focus on identifying and shaping US Public Sector opportunities while driving pipeline in both US Federal Government customers and Prime Contractors (their sub-contractors).

• Capture Strategy Development:
  Design and execute comprehensive capture plans to secure federal contracts, ensuring alignment with Beyond Identity’s strategic goals. Lead the full lifecycle of high-value opportunities at federal agencies - from early identification to proposal submission.
• Customer Engagement:
  Build relationships with federal agencies, key decision-makers, and partners to influence acquisition strategies and position Beyond Identity as the preferred solution.
• Opportunity Analysis:
  Identify and evaluate federal opportunities that align with corporate goals, ensuring resources are focused on winnable pursuits.
• Proposal Collaboration:
  Work closely with proposal teams to provide insights, develop win themes, and ensure compliance with RFP requirements. Create winning bid strategies with compelling messaging that address US Federal customers and their challenges.
• Competitive Intelligence:
  Analyze competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, and strategies to refine Beyond Identity's positioning and pursuit tactics.
• Shaping Opportunities:
  Engage with potential customers early in the acquisition process to effectively shape requirements and position Beyond Identity’s capabilities.
• Process Improvement:
  Leverage industry best practices like the Shipley process to refine and enhance capture management processes.

What we Hope You’ll Bring:

• Experience:
• Minimum 10-12 years in federal capture management or business development, preferably in cybersecurity or SaaS/Cloud offerings..
• Proven track record of successfully leading capture efforts, resulting in contract wins.
• Skills:
• Master knowledge of the FAR,  contract vehicles, and acquisition strategies.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
• Strong understanding of related IT compliance frameworks for the US Federal Government, including FedRAMP, ZTA, CMMC, and Impact Levels.
• Tools & Techniques:
  Familiarity with tools like GovWin, FedBizOps,  FPDS, and CRM systems for tracking opportunities and managing capture processes.
• Preferred Qualifications: Shipley’s Certified
