Job Description

The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, in Fayetteville, AR, is seeking a full-time, board certified, Non-Invasive Cardiologist. Fayetteville is nestled in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, and is an outdoor paradise with hiking, golf, fishing, rafting, boating, and four distinct seasons. Highlights of this position include:

Competitive Starting Salary $330,000-$400,000
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm
Provide comprehensive care to include diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and education of patients with cardiac conditions in the outpatient and inpatient settings
Attend staff meetings and serve on committees, process improvement teams and workgroups as requested
Evaluate, triage, and prioritize cardiology consult requests to ensure timely care for patients

Additional Requirements:

Board certified/eligible in Cardiology and have a proficiency in reading echocardiograms
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State

No Physician Employment contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
