Category Planning Manager:Â
The Category Planning Manager is responsible for the management of category-level plans within the company Open-To-Buy, the management and execution of SKU-level replenishment plans for core products as well as performing as the planning lead for Reformation’s bi-annual promotional periods. This role is highly collaborative and partners closely with a variety of cross functional teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain sales, returns, markdowns and receipts plans for assigned categories within the OTB, under the direction of the Sr. Planning Director. Ensure that all plans align with company wide goals (assortment, production & financial).Â
- Work with Sr. Planning Director to reforecast financial targets for assigned categories within the OTB; communicate financial objectives cross-functionally.
- Lead planning strategy for Reformation’s bi-annual promotional periods. Work closely with Sr. Planning Director and finance to align SKU-level strategy to financial, sell-through, and margin targets.
- Maintain portions of the SKU-level replenishment model for core and “always in stock” style-colors. Deliver specific buys for these style-colors and help manage the assortment of the “always in stock” program in conjunction with the merchandising team and other members of the planning team.
- Work with business intelligence teams to build reports that facilitate faster analysis.
- Prepare hindsights on assigned inventory categories
- Ad hoc reports, projects and analysis as necessary
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree strongly preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in planning
- Strong Analytical and Math Skills
- Strong Excel Knowledge
- Ability to deal successfully with complexities of a rapidly expanding organization
- The ability to read/write SQL and previous experience with analytics software a plus.Â
