Change Management (CM) Consultants at Excella provide the tools that individuals and organizations need in order to implement change in the least disruptive, most efficient, and effective way. CM Consultants often act as a neutral third-party gathering information and data in order to best represent stakeholder interests and align them with business objectives. Most importantly, Excella’s Change Management Consultants help reduce the impact that change has on an organization, its culture, its people, its customers/user community, and its ability to fulfill its vision and mission.Â
Responsibilities:
- Apply Excella’s tools and frameworks to support clients, organizations, and their customers through change
- Identify and execute strategic communications, engagement, and outreach activities in support of technology implementations and other initiatives
- Conduct Organizational Readiness Current State Exploration
- Lead one or more work streams supporting Change Management activities and initiatives
- Manage stakeholder engagement and relationships across one or more work streams
- Translate complex technical concepts and content into plain language and visual representations to be used for audiences with varied levels of technical expertise
- Collaborate with executives and support activities associated with organizational design, team effectiveness, employee engagement, and strategic communications
- Ability to work independently and experience leading change efforts
- Contribute to Excella’s CM practice growth initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, business development, and thought leadership
Qualifications:
- 5+ years Change Management or related experience
- Required:Â B.A. or B.S. (focus in Change Management, Organizational Development, Strategic Communications, Organizational Leadership, Business Management or related area of study is preferred)
- Preferred Education:Â M.A. in Change Management/Organizational Management/Organizational Development/Organizational Psychology (or related area of study)
- Preferred Certifications:Â Prosci, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Change Management Advance Practitioner (CMAP)
- Strong understanding and skilled application of Change Management theories, frameworks, and methodologies
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Strong analytical aptitude, and ability to structure and quantify complex or undefined business problems
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
- Ability to interact with senior level clients
- Adaptable, developer of creative solutions and ability to think “outside of the box”
- Exposure and experience working with User Centered and Service Design
- Experience with all Microsoft Office products
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
- Familiar with a variety of technology solutions, languages, and architectures
