The Channel Commissions Analyst at Talkdesk will be responsible for a) Gathering the required data for commission calculations; b) Manual Commission Statements Generation plus statements data validations; c) Commission Statements Distribution on Monthly basis; d) Preparing/handling Commission JEs on the Monthly/Quarterly basis for the normal routine job tasks a through d. The Commissions Analyst must be detail-oriented and adept at data mining to ensure accurate commission payment calculations. This is crucial for minimizing the potential for human errors, such as overpayments or underpayments, and ensuring compliance with internal and/or external SOX Audits.
Responsibilities:
- Handle Monthly Financial records – JE Accruals (Supporting an external Master Agent and Referral Partner team 75+ in size with personalized compensation plans)
- Monthly statements generation and distribution for the Sales partners
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners
- Assist in partner commission calculations on Monthly/Quarterly basis
- Assist with ad-hoc analysis project(s) as needed
- Assist in other areas of the monthly and annual financial close
Requirements:
- Educational degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics.
- 2+ years of experience with Commissions, FP&A or Accounting background
- Previous experience using Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite strongly preferred.
- Excel proficient - VBA knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret professional contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent conflict management skills at all levels in the organization as well as an effective and resilient stress manager
- Ability to handle tough conversations regarding compensation in a professional and confident manner
- Fast learner
- Sharp eye for detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Open-minded, positive attitude
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
