The Channel Executive-Xbox within the Consumer Sales Organization offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to collaborate with our category management, partner marketing and product teams to build excellence in the Xbox business. This position may require up to 15% travel. Primary client locations will be in Minneapolis and Seattle. ResponsibilitiesDrive sales of Microsoft's Xbox products through Target and antonline by effectively building an assortment strategy, managing retail marketing activities (advertisements, product placement, etc.), collaborating with internal category and product development partners, and developing partner relationships. Maximize revenue, contribution margin, and customer & partner satisfaction through the attainment of individual sales and team sales goals. Responsibilities include developing and strengthening account relationships, working across account team to effectively position Xbox within the gaming category, positioning/recommending product assortments, working cross-organizationally with Category Management, Partner Marketing, Product Groups, Operations and Business Management to ensure positive ROI for Microsoft. Work closely with internal groups and partners to develop brand level long-lead forecasts, merchandising and display strategy, management of internal tool to track and pay partners, forecasting, and driving quarterly Account Business Reviews. Must demonstrate ability to understand and sell Microsoft technology platform, negotiate for product promotion, placement & recommend merchandising planograms as needed; effectively use systems & processes to measure, monitor, manage or impact accounts sales performance.QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Enginering or related field AND 5+ year(s) partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year (s) experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities.
  • 5+ years of sales, business development, or sales support experience in the mass retail sector
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities.
