Job description

Team: Others

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Chief of Staff to the Founder in United States.

This role is a high-impact strategic and operational position designed to act as a force multiplier for the founder in a fast-scaling, mission-driven organization. You will translate vision into execution by structuring priorities, driving cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring that strategic goals are delivered with clarity and speed. The position requires a strong blend of systems thinking, execution excellence, and executive-level communication skills. You will operate across strategy, operations, talent, and client-facing initiatives, helping shape how the organization scales while maintaining quality and alignment. This is a highly dynamic environment where ambiguity is expected, and your ability to create structure, focus, and momentum will directly influence organizational success. You will also play a key role in improving internal systems, enabling teams, and supporting leadership decision-making at scale.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner directly with the founder to translate strategic priorities into clear, executable plans with defined ownership, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Lead and execute high-impact special projects from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Build and optimize internal operating systems, including hiring processes, resource allocation, and organizational planning frameworks.
  • Develop scalable structures to support company growth, including team capacity planning and cross-functional coordination mechanisms.
  • Prepare executive-level materials such as strategy briefs, board documents, and decision memos to support leadership decision-making.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across teams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
  • Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, and implement solutions to improve organizational velocity.
  • Support leadership communication by translating strategy into clear, actionable guidance for internal teams.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the founder, contributing analysis, insights, and structured recommendations.
  • Drive organizational rhythm and alignment through effective communication systems and leadership cadences.
  • Requirements:

    • 5–7+ years of experience in Chief of Staff, strategic operations, consulting, venture capital, business development, or startup leadership roles.
    • Proven ability to manage ambiguous, complex initiatives and drive them to successful execution.
    • Strong systems thinking and ability to design scalable processes and organizational structures.
    • Excellent project management skills with experience handling multiple concurrent, high-priority workstreams.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex topics into clear insights.
    • High proficiency with modern productivity and collaboration tools, with comfort using AI-enabled workflows.
    • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias toward action and execution.
    • Ability to build trust across teams and influence without formal authority.
    • Comfort working in ambiguity and creating structure in evolving environments.
    • AI-native mindset with curiosity for automation, tooling, and workflow optimization.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive compensation package aligned with senior strategic leadership roles.
      • Remote-friendly work environment with flexibility in execution.
      • Opportunity to work directly with the founder on high-impact strategic initiatives.
      • Exposure to fast-scaling operations across strategy, AI, operations, and client delivery.
      • Occasional travel (10–25%) for leadership meetings and company offsites.
      • High-autonomy role with direct influence on company direction and structure.
      • Inclusive, collaborative culture that values ownership, transparency, and continuous learning.
      • Opportunity to shape the operating systems of a rapidly growing organization.
