Job Description
Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Claims Data Analyst Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of data analysts, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize claims processes, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in claims handling and customer satisfaction. A key aspect of this position is the ability to effectively communicate and present complex data insights to executive leadership, highlighting claim trends and their financial impacts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance claims handling efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from claims, underwriting, actuarial, and other business units to identify areas of improvement and align on priorities.
- Establish and maintain robust data governance and quality controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Design and implement advanced analytics and reporting solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to senior management on claims performance and strategic initiatives.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present claim trends and financial impacts to executive leadership, translating complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, and identify opportunities to enhance our analytics capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes, preferably in the property and casualty sector.
- Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Advanced skills in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data-driven strategies that drive business results.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex data insights to executive leadership
