The core responsibility of this team is to ensure our Member Firm's business is processed accurately & efficiently. This includes paperwork review, establishing & maintaining accounts, and providing support to Member Firms. The position will also provide data and account related technical support to the Broker Dealer, which includes reporting on specific areas of the business and providing account information during regulatory audits.

In addition to business continuity functions, this operational position has a high degree of autonomy - employees are encouraged to seek creative & effective solutions to potential workflow problems. This is a fast paced environment where attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to prioritize issues are a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Efficiently and accurately review paperwork & establish new accounts in our systems in line with service level standards
  • Promote cross-team functionality by effectively working with teams across the organization.
  • Provide exceptional account related service to Member Firms, responding to inquiries professionally and in line with our service level standards
  • Support Member Firms with case related commission holds including data research and resolution
  • Assist the team with a variety of operational tasks including Anti Money Laundering review, Member Firm business transitions, and business submission volume management
  • Coordinate required regulatory communications, which include annual privacy mailing and SEC 17a-3 related mailings
  • Create & implement processes based on new regulatory requirements
  • Research and reconcile data from various sources to ensure internal consistency
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline both internal & external business processes and services
  • Ad-Hoc projects as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management or equivalent
  • Financial and/or client services experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements & implement solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Member Firms, Carriers, and M Team members
  • Excellent computer skills, including the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management programs
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload and juggle multiple responsibilities/projects
  • Ability to work effectively both independently as well as a member of a team


JOB CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Hybrid work environment offering a blend of virtual/work from home and onsite days designed to support flexibility
  • Normal office environment/desk assignment
  • Extensive use of PC's, computer terminal, display, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Extensive hands on work with documents, spreadsheets and other written documents
