As an integral member of the VillageMD Team, Onboarding Project Manager is accountable for developing and implementing clinical documentation educational best practices across a quickly growing, primary care practice network.
As a member of our team, through educational support, you will assist in ensuring an understanding of the importance of accuracy and appropriateness of documentation, supporting coding initiatives across all patient populations, including but not limited to Medicare Advantage and Medicare FFS populations. Included in the scope of this role are process improvement, provider education initiatives, report review, and achieving overall documentation and HCC coding accuracy goals.
How you can make a difference:Â
- All aspects of the project lifecycle including planning, scope definition, design, execution and delivery, including development of administrative and operational processes, templates, procedures/protocols and other core documents relating to onboarding operationsÂ
- Managing all aspects of multiple, related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
- Supporting the development and monitoring of key performance indicators
- Reporting on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activitiesÂ
- Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellenceÂ
- Participating in establishment of practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organizationÂ
- Providing status reports regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadershipÂ
- Providing leadership and direction to all levels of implementation regarding the execution of key deliverables
- Representing patient services during key project initiatives including but not limited to:
- Provider Onboarding
- Emerging Market Implementation
- Acquisition readiness
- Clinical Leadership forums

Experience to drive change:Â
- Undergraduate degree (Required)Â
- 5 + years functioning in leadership or Project Management in a matrixed environment; (PMP or Agile certification preferred)
- 3+ years of continuous improvement experience in a matrix environment; (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred)Â
- Strong computer skills; proficiency and speed working in all Microsoft Office products
- Ability to develop project plans in Excel, Project, SharePoint or integrate project management software into project management workflowÂ
- Knowledge of call center telephony systems and customer service portals preferredÂ

For Colorado Residents only: The base compensation range for this role is $75,800 to $103,400. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.Â
