As a clinical applications analyst, you are responsible for providing support and optimization efforts for the EMR and other clinical integrated applications. You will act as the EMR subject matter expert to all team members across the organization to assist/lead in the implementation, support and effective use of the EMR from both the end-user and system administrator perspective. Will frequently attend and particpate in Clinical Operations/Practice Staff meetings to review EMR issues or requested enhancements.

Skills for success

  • Responsible for all aspects of the development/implementation of projects, focused on the delivery deployment of the EMR from the kick-off to transition state to Support & Optimization function.
  • Functions as primary liaison between all cross functional workstreams for new and established market project work.
  • Establish and maintain Knowledge Base articles (i.e. Solutions) for the team regarding workflows in the clinical applications of the EMR.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot potential issues and participate in their resolution with highest customer satisfaction.
  • Promotes system security, patient confidentiality and helps ensure compliance standards are upheld.
  • Responsible for overall success of athena implementation within assigned VMD region.
  • Plan and execute all configuration tasks within deadlines.
  • Complete Practice assessment/Due diligence for new acquisitions.
  • Works with Clinical Operations to design workflows for new service lines.
  • Works with Learning and Development to develop training curriculum for new service line workflows.
  • Coordinate and host go-live prep calls.
  • Manage go-live command center.
  • Host end of day go-live calls.
  • Provides go live support as needed to meet the needs of the business.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

The following experience is relevant to us

  • Minimum of 2 years of EMR experience
  • Previous experience with onboarding/integrating clinics preferred
  • Athena experience strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Prior experience interfacing with customer leadership preferred
  • Bachelors or masters in related fields or equivalent work experience including work in the care delivery space

For Colorado Residents only: The base compensation range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
