We are now seeking a passionate, driven and energetic Clinical Consultant to join our Foot & Ankle team in Newcastle, NSW. This role will require a degree of travel to Sydney (2 days per week), and will be a full time, permanent position.

Our talented Clinical Consultants play a vital role in the moments that matter most - the seconds, minutes and hours in which patients lives are changed forever by the skills and knowledge of care givers.

Our Clinical Consultants:

  • Provide technical and clinical specialist expertise to internal and external customers
  • Attend surgical procedures and assist surgeons and hospital staff in the effective use of Stryker products
  • Conduct in-service training and support our Territory Managers
  • Provide effective technical consultative service to customers before, during and after surgical cases
  • Consistently drive customer and patient satisfaction
  • Apply product proficiency by ensuring customers comprehend technical specifications and on-label use of products

Requirements:

  • Current qualifications within allied health - physios, nurses, osteos are all encouraged to apply
  • Understanding of the Orthopedic theatre environment and experience with Orthopedic devices and procedures
  • Demonstrated problem solving, collaborative teamwork skills, including the ability to drive clear verbal messages regarding technical subjects
  • Keen learner and strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for a successful patient outcome every time will ensure your success in this role.

You will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Science or Engineering.
  • Previous orthopaedic exposure or knowledge would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for a successful patient out come every time will ensure your success in this role.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, collaborative teamwork skills, including the ability to drive clear verbal messages regarding technical subjects.
  • Keen learner and strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Able to work autonomously and calmly under pressure.
