Cloud AdministratorÂ
swXtch.io is currently seeking a Cloud Administrator to join our Cloud swXtch team, to own and maintain the infrastructure and complex functionality of our cloud products.Â
You will have the opportunity to apply your experience and knowledge to build, secure, and support network and compute cloud infrastructure. You will work on multiple projects that span all major public clouds. You will also work closely with the IT team to develop and run development and production systems. This role will also require you to work with our Engineering team to support critical operational systems.
We are looking for someone that is a high energy self-starter, who is intellectually curious, not afraid to be hands-on. Experience developing production quality systems in one or more of the major public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desired. If this sounds like you, join us!

About You:

- Possess a strong working knowledge of creating and maintaining infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and GCP mainly using Linux systems and some Windows systems

What You'll Do:
- Supporting the development and solution architect teams in creating, deploying, and maintaining development and production systems across different cloud providers
- Maintaining the performance of cloud servers
- Installing new servers and updating existing serversÂ
- Troubleshooting issues with internal and client-owned cloud servers and infrastructure
- Maintaining documentation about cloud systemsÂ
- Monitoring server performance and capacity
- Planning and executing disaster recovery procedures to ensure that business operations can be restored quickly in the event of a disasterÂ
- Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting network issues
- Creating backup procedures to prevent data loss
- Managing user access to Atlassian, Github, and other development tools
You Are/Have:
- 4+ years of experience as cloud administrator doing infrastructure management
- 3+ years experience with infrastructure deployment automation with Terraform
- Programming experience (preferably in Python or Bash)
- Experience running and maintaining cloud native systems and services (deploying cloud-based solutions)
- Extensive experience wit security and network allocation in the cloud
- Patch management / Software development
- Project management and rollout experience
- Network setup and troubleshooting experience
- Extensive Linux and Windows system administration experience supporting an IT team and organization

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting annual base pay is between $130-,000 and $180,000 for this remote position. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The annual base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for bonus and equity.
