Cloud Automation Engineer (Remote)

As a Cloud Automation Engineer, you’ll work on a cloud automation program using Terraform and other cloud methodologies, with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do: 

• Help to design and maintain Cloud services.
• Identify and implement automation strategies in the SDLC process that enable high quality, rapid delivery of new solutions across multiple clouds.
• Seek ways to continuously optimize and improve operational aspects of Cloud-based solutions.

What you’ll need to succeed: 

• The ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies and orchestration (Docker, AWS ECS, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Expertise with architecting infrastructure as code (Terraform and CloudFormation) and extensive architecture experience in Linux, Python, Cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD tools.
• A strong track record of incubating/building Cloud-based capabilities, API platform strategies, driving platform execution with engineering and launching cloud solutions.
• Experience in Linux, Python, Cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD tools and other open-source technologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and build consensus across a broad range of backgrounds, organizational levels and personalities.
• A passion for problem solving and using emerging technologies to successfully meet requirements.
