The Cloud Devops team at Liveperson is looking for an experienced DevOps engineer: a candidate that takes on challenges, continuously expands his area of expertise and naturally takes ownership of his work. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, an eagerness to follow good practices and a desire to apply his skills in the field of DevOps.

We will provide you the grounds to succeed, an embracing working environment and very complex and interesting technical challenges to solve.

You will:

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on the cloud (e.g., GCP) to support containerized applications.
• Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting within Kubernetes.
• Install and configure HashiCorp Vault for secure storage and management of secrets and sensitive data.
• Implement policies and access controls to safeguard Vault data.
• Collaborate with the cloud team to provision, configure, and maintain cloud resources on GCP, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement automation for resource provisioning and scaling using tools like Terraform.

You have:

• 2+ years solid experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role - MUST
• Experience with CI/CD tools - Gitlab pipelines is a plus. 
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Bash, Python - MUST, Golang - Advantage 
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes - MUST
• Experience with Kubernetes provisioning and troubleshooting in production systems - MUST
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code concepts using tools like Terraform - MUST
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - MUST
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
