Cloud Native Senior Product Manager

The team is working on few different areas that you can have a big impact. This includes: Kubernetes: The Azure Kubernetes Service team is creating a world-class container management and orchestration services for the cloud and beyond. We are the team working on container solutions for Azure on both Linux and Windows. We are looking for product managers who are excited about containers, and container orchestration with Kubernetes. Who also have a passion for building DevOps tools that make it easier for people to build, deploy and scale their software on the Azure cloud.
Linux: The Azure Linux team is responsible for delivering the an outstanding Linux experience on Azure. In this role you will work closely the upstream Linux community, internal and external customers, and represent Microsoft as a strong community partner and contributor. We are seeking an experienced open source program manager to join the team focusing on delivering an outstanding Linux experience on Azure. This requires a solid understanding of the Linux operation system and associated open source tools.Responsibilities

• Work with engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders on Linux/Kubernetes
• Define and measure business impact of Linux/Kubernetes
• Participate in upstream community events and activities including special interest groups and release meetings.
• Represent our contributions to open source projects and foundations.
• Partner with community marketing to highlight our contributions to open source projects and platforms at community events.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 4-5 years of program management or project management experience
