Cloud Security Engineer (Remote)

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you’ll support a cloud provisioning program, utilizing Amazon Commercial Cloud Infrastructure and services, with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do: 

• Design and implement secure cloud solutions for our organization.
• Evaluate and implement cloud security controls to meet compliance requirements.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures for cloud-based systems.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in the cloud environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of cloud-based systems and applications
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security trends and technologies

What you’ll need to succeed: 

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, along with a strong understanding of cloud computing and cloud security principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP and knowledge of security compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and FedRAMP.
• Experience with security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management. 
• The ability to obtain a security clearance.
