As a Cloud Solution Architect Manager, you will lead a team of people who enable customers to achieve their outcomes, based on their investments in Microsoft technology. Leveraging your business and technical expertise, you will coach the team to ensure customers get value from their MS investments such as M365 Enterprise solution and Unified support investments. As a hands-on manager, you will lead by example through direct involvement with customers. This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your career growth, honing your leadership skills, and deepening your Cloud expertise. Customer Satisfaction - Lead your team to deliver positive Customer Satisfaction, and coach them to become trusted advisors to customers and partners, by leveraging Modern Work expertise to enable defined Customer Success Plan outcomes.
Customer/Partner Insights: Coach the team to provide feedback & insights from customers/partners back to the relevant MS teams including Product Groups, to enable continuous improvement.
Business Impact
Manage the consumption business of Solutions and Support to achieve the business goals and deliver customer value: Coach the team to develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results by working with business and technical decision makers to ensure they understand Microsoft's Modern Work value proposition and get value from their investment in the Microsoft technology through deep business understanding of the solution plays and customer scenarios for your solution area. Drive usage growth of "Modern Work" workloads (Microsoft 365 with a focus on Microsoft Teams Platform, Phone & Rooms) thru
Customer Success excellence; reducing competitive threat.
Accelerate Resolution of Customer Blockers: Coach the team to identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects by leveraging Modern Work technical subject matter expertise. Support them to lead the technical conversations with customers to drive value from their MS investments, by delivering all work according to MS best practices & policies and using repeatable IP. Amplify the Voice of the Customer within Microsoft, representing the customers' technical interests, generating insights, removing obstacles, and influencing engineering roadmaps
People Leadership

8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
Experience commited to Modeling, Coaching and Caring for a team and/or peers
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field or equivalent experience
6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
6+ years experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions.
6+ years experience leading Support and Customer success teams
5+ years of experience in people management preferred
8+ years of experience in consultative selling ideally in consulting or technical sales
5+ years of experience in driving change management and effective adoption within key technologies
Professional Experience:
Cross Group Collaboration: Passion for making others successful by partnering with all required Microsoft stakeholders in the subsidiary to drive role clarity and effective cross-team collaboration. Help resources connect to their relevant internal stakeholders and build positive relationships across other Microsoft leadership roles.
Leadership: Lead by example via deep, direct involvement in customer engagements and a "showing by doing" mindset.
Talent Mgmt: Ability to execute team readiness and development by attracting, developing and retaining a talented team of different profile of resources, leveraging both HR & external sources to ensure a strong pipeline of future candidates.
People Mgmt: Ability to support, coach and enable to ensure effective delivery against the Monthly Active Usage and/or Utilization targets, drive adoption, create high-quality customer success plans, and monitor customer health. Manage performance through appropriate 1:1s and connect sessions, conduct performance management assessments and reviews annually (FTEs).
Operational Excellence: Ability to run the monthly/quarterly ROB process and Scrum, both collecting performance data from the team and reporting performance to the Customer Success Unit (CSU) Lead and Corporate Team. Manage team appropriately to reach agreed to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Participate as member of the extended Strategy Team in the creation of strategy, targets and processes that will enable successful attainment of goals.
Technical Experience:
Foundational Cloud Knowledge:
Foundational-level knowledge of cloud services, such as standard practices, considerations, and benefits.
Fluency in SaaS solutions from Microsoft or its key competitors.
Ability to understand business requirements and customer problems and solve them through cloud technologies.
Customer Success & Support:
Proven ability to map the customer's business process to product capability
Top-notch executive engagement and communication skills with proven ability to establish trusted advisor relationships with CxO and good understand of enterprise IT organizational structure.
Background in architecture design to apply design thinking methodology to construct architectures that drive value for the customer, incorporating policies, governance, and customer systems into the overall framework.
US Citizenship: The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.
Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $148,000 and $222,000. At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
