The Opportunity

This Cloud Verification Engineer I position works out of our Sylmar, CA location.

Cloud Verification Engineer I works under limited supervision, performs moderate risk/moderate complexity specialized level software project activities in such areas as Development, Tools, Test, Requirements and/or related areas. Assignments may include, but are not limited to, analyzing requirements, creating and maintaining test cases/procedures, test scenarios, test execution. Creation of test data, troubleshooting, debugging, and maintaining of software test tools and scripts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Focus on Automation Framework implementation in current programming languages (Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG).
• Data-Integrity testing through Automation (Postgres, CosmosDB, Oracle).
• Work from requirement specifications to develop, maintain, update and execute test procedures and test scripts.
• Identify parameters, structure, and critical test components.
• Write, update, or execute test designs, cases, as well as procedures and reports results.
• Contribute to and supports root-cause analysis of test failures.
• Submit, resolve, track and verify software defects/bugs.
• Analyze requirements for correctness and submit issues to the requirements engineer.
• Work in Agile/SCRUM methodology
• Experience with WebServices Automation
• Experience with Bit-Bucket, CI/CD pipe-line integration of automation scripts.
• Develop custom software tools to use in conjunction with test automation.
• Working in all aspects of Design Verification throughout the SDLC in a medical device regulated environment.
• Contribute to and support a variety of test phase efforts.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

Required

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, Computer Science, or related engineering field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 6 months in software development (combination of programming-heavy coursework, school projects, freelance work and professional experience).
• Experience with Postgres, Oracle, Java, and Selenium.
• Basic knowledge or experience in Microservices, WebServices (Postman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI), RestAssured.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge or experience in Microservices, WebServices (Postman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI), RestAssured.
• Azure Cloud certification.
