The CloudAscent Sales Strategy Manager is a key contributor to our transformation, where the focus is on innovating our go-to-market capability and capacity to best serve SMB customers through various sales engines. This requires continuous innovation and evolution of our data strategy to enable sales engines execution while remaining centered on the customer.
To be successful, you must understand the SMB market and customer needs, the IT channel and partner ecosystem, and sales engines that span from demand response to customer success that drive customer acquisition and retention motions at scale.
You will lead a team of that works with key business partners across all Region s including SMB Leads, Vendor Tele Leads and Partner teams in driving data strategy alignment and execution excellence on SMB with the right level of investments to address customer needs, acquire new customers at scale and improve customer retention and satisfaction. Additionally, you will drive the end to end data strategy, including the Data Escrow (federation model) to deep our insights on our SMB Customers to drive actionable outcomes by the sales and strategy teams.
Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field.
- 6+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (2 years out), Management Consulting, Sales, or Finance.
- 4+ years people management experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years marketing, strategy, sales, sales leadership, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience with an emphasis on large scope projects partnering with senior leadership.
- 6+ years marketing, strategy, sales, sales leadership, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
- Candidates are expected to be driven with passion for data and should be experienced in making data-driven business decisions.
- Candidates must be comfortable in manipulating and analyzing complex, high dimensional data from varying sources to solve complex/ambiguous problems and should be able to communicate complex ideas/concepts in a simpler form to leadership and/or extended teams.
- Experience operating in Agile project management framework.
- Experience with Python, SQL, and other related tools for Data Science/Machine Learning is a plus

Responsibilities:
The CloudAscent Sales Strategy Manager will requires experience to lead complex environments to deliver and land the SMB data strategy globally. The candidate is expected to be a self-starter with the abilty to navigate complex business scenarios, excel in ambiguous environments, and generate clarity through structured thinking and clear communication of the SMB data strategy.
This is a high impact role that will help drive the SMB data strategy across internal stakeholders and external Microsoft Partners. The candidate will be expected to work closely with different groups across SMB Business Strategy , SMB Field S ales and Solution Area teams , Marketing , Partner team s , Legal, Privacy and Finance - to extract, transform, clean, validate , load, and analyze data and build analytical models to solve monetization and business strategy problems.
The CloudAscent Sales Strategy Manager role focuses on landing the SMB data platform (CLAS) . This includes:
- Expert ise on the SMB data platform (CLAS) providing support across all three solution areas to identify customer acquisition , cross-sell/up-sell opportunities by Solution Plays, Targeting Scenarios by AMERICAS geographies, by Partner and Partner Type s and by SMB Customer Subsegment .
- Expertise on the SMB revenue sources by pricing level , by solution area and partner type; and have the ability to model new revenue sources leveraging Corporate provided data sources and/or local data sources .
- Provide s upport for local execution of marketing campaigns based on data and locally identified customer data lists and sources , provide support and analysis for measuring the effectiveness of local campaigns and make recommendations for data and model improvements, and/or execution changes based on past campaign results.
