Job Description
Bungie is seeking a Destiny 2 Co-development (co-dev) Manager to play a critical role in the development of Destiny 2 content. This Manager will work as a part of the Destiny 2 co-dev team to build and improve internal and external relationships as well as intra- and extra- team communication. They will act as the bridge and guide between all groups to make sure our project development teams are always in sync and collaborating.Â
The ideal candidate will be a tenacious, self-motivated, empathetic, and cool-headed organizer of people and teams. They will be driven as a leader to build and foster creative and collaborative environments across multiple Destiny 2 projects. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Project leadership and co-dev partners to execute on development plans Â
- Ensure continual alignment between co-dev partners and internal teams
- Manage relationships with and represent Bungie to partner studios
- Manage partner developer(s) on the Destiny 2 co-dev Team
- Identify, mitigate and escalate risks to the Destiny 2 Leadership Team
- Assist in managing schedules and tracking delivery of external content development
- Work with relevant disciplines and IT to maintain and update effective onboarding processes, tools, training, and documentation for bringing on new partner staff
- Create and maintain Destiny 2 co-dev Team rituals for both internal and partner staff
- Manage, lead and/or mentor internal staff Â
- Assess partner staff alongside Bungie experts to join Destiny 2 teams
- Review budget expenditures and invoices related to Destiny 2 co-dev partners
- Assist with the hiring of the internal Destiny 2 co-dev Team
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience in game development from concept, production, launch, and/or live service operations  Â
- Experience with external development, either outsourcing or co-development
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and building internal and external teams at scale
- Ability to collaborate with and work across various game development disciplines & departments
- Exemplary communication skills and the ability to resolve conflicts inside and out of Bungie
- Outstanding analytical skills to seek and solve problems in a fast-paced and ever-changing environmentÂ
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others as a leader
- Ability to continually prioritize work and drive alignment in complex situations
- Detail oriented and organized, comfortable dealing with ambiguityÂ
- Focused and composed under pressure in the pursuit of driving results and team health
- Social intelligence, great interpersonal skills, and empathy for creative teams
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Ability to work outside of core hours for conference calls with partner teams in other parts of the world (when applicable)

- 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
