The Opportunity
DAT is looking for a Collections Specialist II to join our fantastic Billing team in Beaverton, OR.
We’re looking for a savvy billing professional who will bring their energy and drive to help take our high performance Billing team to the next level.

Candidate profile
- Develops strong relationships with customers and ensures timely payments.
- Strong communicator who takes a proactive approach to working with customers and teams to resolve issues.
- Driven and motivated to research and analyze challenges to help find solutions.
- Detail oriented and highly organized to ensure all tasks are completed.
What You’ll Do
- Manage customer accounts, receiving and accurately posting payments.
- Inform customers about the status of their accounts in a timely manner.
- Collect payments from customers to bring overdue accounts current.
- Investigate billing related questions and work directly with customers to resolve any issues.
- Support other DAT departments with questions about customer accounts and billing.
- Compile and record essential reports that help the Billing Manager make decisions about a range of billing issues.
The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring
- 1-2 years of success working in a billing or call center is strongly preferred.
- Strong familiarity with Salesforce preferred. Intermediate skills working with other CRM will also be considered.
- Intermediate understanding of credit and collections systems and procedures is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner with internal employees, and customers.
- Strong skills working in MS Office 365 and Google Workspace is preferred
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
