Collections Specialist (Part time, Contract)

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven part-time collections specialist to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, the ideal candidate will be responsible for aggressively pursuing outstanding payments and maximizing collection efforts. This is a part-time position targeting 20 hrs a week.

You Will:

• Contact clients and customers to collect outstanding payments
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements; navigating difficult conversations with intense professionalism
• Resolve billing issues and disputes with detail and constant follow up
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date collection records
• Providing regular follow up updates to the CFO and executive team on collection activities and outcomes
• Escalate to legal and/or our the collections vendor as needed

You Have:

• Proven experience maintaining a bullish nature in collections or a similar role
• Strong unwavering negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet or exceed deadlines
• Proficiency in accounting software

Pay Transparency:

• $2,000 - $3,000 monthly draw against 25% of collected performance payment
• Total potential annual earnings of $125,000 based on performance
• Additional $101,000 due outside of the draw based on collections
