Commercial Service Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment, including HVAC systems and appliances. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and timely repairs. Responsibilities • Diagnose issues with HVAC systems, appliances, and other equipment using tools such as an ohmmeter. • Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients on-site. • Drive a company van to transport tools and equipment to various job sites. • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs. • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions. • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to appliance repair and HVAC systems. Experience • Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC systems, or field service roles is preferred. • Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and maintenance practices. • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with hand tools and diagnostic equipment. • Experience as a van driver is a plus, ensuring safe transportation of tools and materials. • Knowledge of refrigeration systems is advantageous but not mandatory. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
