Job description
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Investigate and handle all customer inquiries regarding shipments, products, and complaints
• Perform data entry and cash handling and relative notes
• Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries
• Make changes to or cancel orders/backorders
• Initiate orders for replacements parts and/or for correcting errors (shortages, wrong item shipped, etc.)
• Initiate file maintenance for corrections to computer’s customer file
• Fill out forms, determine changes for service requested
• Solicit sale of new or additional products
• Handle customer complaints in a professional manner
• Obtain customer feedback information
• Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
• Learn product selection to increase product knowledge and company offerings (different types, category location, etc.)
• Maintain assigned work areas to ensure a presentable appearance for customers
• Any other duty as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications:
• Bilingual in English and Korean is required
• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent; or 6 months to 1 year of related experience/training; or a combination of education and experience
• Able to read and write simple instructions and correspondence; effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings
• Able to perform basic math, including fractions, decimals, percentages, and interpret bar graphs
• Able to follow clear written or verbal instructions and solve basic problems with limited variables in routine situations
• Successful performance requires knowledge of contact management, database, spreadsheet, and word processing software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
