In this role, the Communications Manager will partner with our marketing and communications teams to create external, patient-facing content, manage external social media channels and elevate Village Medical’s awareness in markets to the patients we serve.

How you can make a difference

  • Collaborate with communications, marketing and OCMO on the national partnerships to gain awareness around Village Medical.
  • Create and manage new content creation focused on consumer-facing audiences including content developed with VillageMD’s national partnerships.
  • Manage inbound patient feedback and reviews while cross-collaborating with the teams for change management.
  • Manage content calendars for consumer-facing content across multiple social media platforms.
  • Build new relationships with national and local media outlets.
  • Develop new communications playbooks to scale future initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the practices including practice managers and clinic staff to launch internal and patient-facing communications and gain their participation in updating their patients.
  • Collaborate with the communications and marketing teams on content calendar planning to optimize patient-focused outreach.

Skills for success

  • Strong writing skills and an interest in reaching out to proactively to media.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficiencies in Sharepoint, Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe, Smartsheeet are beneficial.

Experience to drive change

  • Approximately 5-7 years of communications experience, preferably in healthcare or at a fast-growing company.  
  • Bachelors degree in business, communications, marketing or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excel at writing and multi-tasking.
  • Some travel required.

For Colorado Residents only: The target hiring compensation range for this role is $70,000.00 to $87,000.00. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
