The TransUnion Consumer Operations Compliance Lead has responsibility for leading a compliance team that provides support for TransUnion's consumer-facing operations. This includes ensuring a compliance framework with appropriate compliance monitoring in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and all applicable laws and regulations.
What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred in business, pre-law or law, or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in corporate or privacy compliance, or Legal department, audit, or applicable regulatory exam experience
  • Verbal, and written communications skills
  • Experience in identifying, risk assessing, and remediating issues

  • Ability to write formal policies and procedures as well as routine reports and correspondence
  • This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week


Impact You'll Make:

  • Participate with senior management to establish strategic goals, plans, and objectives for the organization and make strategic decisions based on company goals and objectives
  • Analyze, address, and resolve compliance issues
  • Provide oversight and support to TransUnion's Consumer Operations business unit on compliance-related matters
  • Compile and submit applicable compliance-related reports to regulators as required
  • Regularly report to Compliance and Operations executives on compliance related matters
  • Advise Consumer Operations on emerging risks, changes to applicable laws and regulations, and remediation of issues
  • Work closely with regulatory exam management and internal audit teams on findings and observations
