Summary: The Configuration Specialist is an internal and partner-facing, single point of contact responsible for the database configuration and partner coordination required for new program onboarding. With a demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and attention for detail, you'll be accountable for the timely and accurate setup of new client programs! To be successful, a learned understanding of multiple platforms, products, and capabilities is a must.

This entry-level role is encouraged to work cross-functionally with other internal teams and will be required to articulate the needs of each client setup. A Configuration Specialist will also work on “special” and internal projects as assigned to them and proactively crafted from their own identified business needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and demonstrate a general understanding in the areas of application programming interfaces (API) and system design:

  • Internal Onbe system program configuration.
  • Onbe partner program configuration.
  • Cardholder-facing site configuration.
  • Collateral development & Approval.
  • Program and in-marketing testing.

Communication and Project Management

  • Provide regular and detailed updates to project owners to ensure project status is known.
  • Clearly communicate status and ability to meet target dates. If dates cannot be met, provide realistic fact-based alternative dates.
  • Understand projects' scope and requirements to assist with meeting project timelines.
  • Optimally connect with teammates and communicate project scope, status, and requirements.
  • Possess the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and accurately production issues.
  • Support client maintenance requests that come through the ticketing system.

Product Understanding

  • Develop and maintain expertise in Onbe’s core solutions and products, focusing on client and cardholder touchpoints.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrate proven skills with API interfaces and system design.
  • Participate in beta testing on new features and functionality.
  • Understand partner capabilities and how to apply them to the internal database effectively.

The base salary range for this position is between $55,350.00 to $73,800.00, with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand. This position can be office-based, hybrid, or fully remote in the continental United States. Onbe’s employee base is mostly clustered in the Eastern and Central time zones, with offices in suburban Philadelphia and suburban Chicago. Some periodic travel will be required.
