Construction General Laborer

Job Summary The General Laborer supports various plant tasks, including cleanup, stick laying, packaging, and maintenance assistance. This is anoutdoorposition. Work Environment Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, and rain. May involve climbing heights up to 100 feet. Schedule Monday through Friday 6am to 3pm Key Responsibilities • Follow safety and environmental procedures; report issues. • Perform physical labor in areas like Maintenance, Stacking, Kilns, Shipping, Receiving, and yard upkeep. • Comfortable with a staplegun • Ask questions if unsure about tasks. • Clean up work areas, tools, and spills after jobs are done. • Support maintenance by performing Fire Watch duties as needed. • Operate vehicles, forklifts, or tractors when required. • Attend training sessions and safety meetings. • Perform other tasks as assigned. • construction experience preferred Qualifications • High school diploma or GED. • Construction experience. • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance is a plus. • Ability to learn, take direction, and work accurately. • Safe operation of equipment and effective communication. • Respectful and collaborative with others. • Self-motivated and proactive. Skills • Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn. Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $14.50 per hour Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
