Construction Laborer

We are hiring for 2 open positions. We are seeking a Laborer for our concrete division and another for our demolition division. Job Responsibilities · Assists skilled workers as assigned · Unloads materials delivered to job sites and distributes them as identified by Manager, project plans, or specifications · May help to prepare area where work will take place by measuring, marking, or recording openings or distances · Prepares tools and materials for skilled workers · Cleans and prepares specific areas of jobsite as assigned (may include erecting scaffolding, cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash or removing hazardous materials) · Operates a variety of hand and power tools · Directs traffic near, in, or around work zones · Motions equipment operator to assist with alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials · Cleans jobsite at the end of the day, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and materials or equipment are properly stored · Reports daily progress to Manager · Adheres to U.C.I.’s policies and procedures · Performs other duties as assigned by Manager Requirements · U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, or a worker granted asylum or refugee status · Successful clearance of criminal background check, drug screening and credit check · Age 21 or older · English fluency · Valid Class C driver’s license, clean driving record (no recent moving violations) · Medical card for driver’s license · High school diploma or equivalent OR completion of related vocational training · 1 year of related experience preferred · Current CPR and First Aid certifications preferred · OSHA 10-hour certification preferred · Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks · Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) matching • On-the-job training • Opportunities for advancement • Paid training • Safety equipment provided • Tools provided People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Commute: • Lansdowne, PA 19050 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Lansdowne, PA 19050: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
