Consultant, DISCO Experience - Client Success

The DISCO Experience Consultant works directly with clients to provide expert advice and consultation for their ediscovery matters and legal operations. You’re one of the first experts that our clients meet. Your role is to guide them on the important aspects of their matters or legal operations, and you do so in a compelling manner to help drive further engagement with DISCO products and services. 

• Deeply integrate with DISCO’s new client onboarding team to infuse discovery workflow domain into our client’s first experiences.
• Provide complimentary matter consultation as part of new client onboarding, positioning for strong user ROI.
• Serve as a solutions consultant to DISCO clients on a matter or enterprise level, focused on workflow, legal considerations, and legal operations to maximize the value of their DISCO experience.
• Discover opportunities to enhance the client experience through additional products, paid consulting or services that can be provided by DISCO. 
• Guide and advise on workflow, such as use of early case assessment (ECA), review, data management, Case Builder use for case management, as well as legal operations and ESI protocols.
• Act as lead Subject Matter Expert for presenting new and updated products as it relates to consulting and service offerings that can have consulting or services solutions designed and implemented.
• Drive revenue and DISCO product diversity across our client-base by mapping clients to value-add services and complimentary products.
• Document and transition clients to Professional Services as identified through the initial Matter Consult.
• Possess deep and hands-on product knowledge to effectively assist clients in leveraging the tools and services to achieve their matter goals.  
• Infuse subject matter expertise into Client Success initiatives designed to drive adoption (i.e. best practices consulting, adoption roadshows, CLE presentations).
• Provide feedback and feature requests for the product, our consulting offerings, and our service offerings, including leading any design of solutions that you consult and advise on.

• Have 5+ years of ediscovery consulting experience at a law firm, in-house legal department or service provider
• Track record of revenue generation resulting from value-add consulting  
• Persuasive communicator who is comfortable with public speaking
• Proven experience of consulting clients into AI and structured review workflows
• Strong knowledge of ediscovery best practices, legal requirements, and the technical solutions that can be utilized to meet the needs of the matter or enterprise solution.
• Possess excellent verbal communication skills and written work product with a focus on detail and responsiveness
• Ability to manage multiple, fast-moving client engagements at a given time
• Familiarity with data collection and ediscovery processing software
• Strong solution-oriented mindset to design and build solutions that can be successfully implemented for the client, with a keen eye on repeatable and scalable solutions
• Strong interest in technology with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to initiative, research, and craft creative technical solutions
• Attention to detail, strong organizational and client-service orientation skills
• Must reside in major metropolitan area with concentrated legal marketplace, i.e. New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, Chicago, et al.
• Have exemplar experience working with partner-level or GC-level clients to advise and guide on consulting solutions
• Are attorney or have extensive experience providing consulting advice to attorney case teams or legal departments

• Worked with DISCO at one of our primary client profiles such as AMLaw 200 firms, corporate legal or government entities to advise clients based on firsthand experience
