This highly strategic field-based position focuses on designing developing and positioning end-to-end Snowflake solutions tailored to meet the unique business challenges of our customers. As a DVSA you will collaborate across sales delivery and partner ecosystems to create forward-thinking technology roadmaps develop service offerings and build long-term client relationships. This role is ideal for a technically adept business-savvy professional who thrives in a consultative environment enjoys solutioning complex technical challenges and is passionate about driving digital transformation at scale.
What you will do:
* Architect and develop tailored DV solutions for enterprise clients including assessments health checks deployment strategies and advisory services.
* Present and articulate DV solutions that address critical business challenges through compelling storytelling whiteboarding sessions demos and executive briefings.
* Partner with internal sales and delivery teams to craft strategic sales plans scope project deliverables and author detailed Statements of Work (SOWs).
* Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their long-term objectives and mapping technology solutions to desired outcomes.
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients internal stakeholders and key technology partners.
* Maintain a minimum of five partner technical certifications demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and deep technical expertise.
* Expand influence in your assigned territory through proactive engagement with vendors partners clients and CDW field teams.
* Act as a subject matter expert across multiple technology domains; contribute to thought leadership initiatives such as blogs webinars and social media.
* Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives mentor junior architects and sellers and support enablement efforts for the broader Digital Velocity team.
What we expect of you:
* Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience architecting delivering or selling complex IT solutions. Or 11+ years of experience architecting delivering or selling complex IT solutions.
* 5+ years of experience in data architecture and data engineering with at least 3 years hands-on in Snowflake.
* Deep expertise in Snowflake features (Warehouses Streams/Tasks Time Travel RBAC Clustering Stages etc.).
* Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python.
* Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical discussions influence decision-making and align technology strategy with business outcomes.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into Snowflake-based solutions.
* Proven ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with a passion for customer engagement.
* Ability to mentor and coach peers fostering knowledge transfer and collaborative team success.
* Must be comfortable working in a highly dynamic fast-paced environment.
