Work Schedule: Standard Meriplex business hours of Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Travel: Required, estimated up to 25% travel.

Ramp up period: Approx. 3 weeks

Impact: The Content Manager provides written content to support the company’s content strategy. The Content Manager’s contribution is vital to maintaining a consistent company brand, keeping a strong flow of new marketing content to keep Meriplex relevant to customers and competitors, and is imperative to driving leads through content. Without the Content Manager performing to the best of their ability, strategy KPIs and ROI are at risk of not being met.

Position Summary:

The Content Manager reports to the Director, Marketing and works to oversee all written marketing tactics for the company. The majority of this role entails delivering short-form content for the marketing team in the form of 1-pagers, PowerPoints, emails, campaigns, case studies, as well as, long-form content. The Content Manager works with all 3rd party writers to communicate vision, expectation, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities/ Duties:

· Execute content strategy.

· Write content for various Meriplex platforms.

· Oversee message delivery to different verticals.

· Manage 3rd party writers to ensure that all writing embodies Meriplex’s culture and communicates Marketing’s intended message.

· Interview clients and write case studies.

· Spearhead scriptwriting and production for all video content.

· Strategically plan out writing pieces.

· Create and manage email marketing content and webinar descriptions.

· Deliver content for new and existing campaigns.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Understand and execute Marketing concepts and fundamentals.

· Passion for working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to demonstrate personal commitment and drive to set and exceed high standards.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products such as Word with strong knowledge of PowerPoint; understanding of graphic design programs a plus.

· Clear and concise communicator, both written and verbally.

· Willingness to learn and take on new projects.

· Ability to coordinate and manage projects successfully.

· Act as a team player.

Education/ Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, business, or another related field.

· 3-5 years of experience in content writing, marketing, or another related writing discipline.

· Being able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to change quickly.

· Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.

· Experience manipulating spreadsheets and organizing data in Microsoft Excel.

· Salesforce experience is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Sedentary Work – Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
