Costar Group is seeking a Learning Content Manager to join our growing LoopNet Sales Training team. As a Learning Content Manager, you will be the connection between our clients, product development, and the sales team. You will assist in the creation and development of various learning programs and training experiences to help LoopNet personnel develop the capabilities and knowledge needed to utilize the LoopNet products, service our clients, and foster their professional growth in the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a subject matter expert on LoopNet products, technology updates, and best practices
- Proactively identify training topics to be addressed or areas in need of additional instruction
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous learning events using varied media in virtual and global environments
- Create instructional materials and online content to be used in training based on feedback form various LoopNet business units
- Own Workday Learning content and make updates appropriately
- Conduct training programs live as needed
- Develop processes and manage communications for notifying stakeholders about online content updates
- Continually review and document content development processes within LMS and other authoring tools to ensure content production, review, and maintenance are highest quality possible
- Review existing non-LMS content (e.g. Sharepoint Sites, OneDrive) and set policies for content archival, migration, and necessary exceptions
- Create, train, and provide feedback to instructors, learning designers and delivery support on processes for content organization, tagging and discoverability
- Manage content (playbook, sites, curriculum, LMS) updates for global sales force acting as a liaison between key stakeholders and sales.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years of experience in commercial real estate
- 2+ years of experience with CoStar's Suite of products
- Previous experience with Training Content Development.
- Previous sales experience, marketing, or communications experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in the commercial real estate industry
- Demonstrated experience facilitating training on technical content
- Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
- Instructional experience in a group business setting preferred
- Extensive knowledge of best practices in creating instructional materials
- Creative problem solving, attention to detail, objectivity and the ability to think strategically
- Experience meeting performance metrics, being results-oriented
- Ability to interact at all levels and establish rapport with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Excel that includes the ability to manipulate data, filter, and develop basic formulas.
