The Contract Manager will lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of various agreements with our subcontractors using pre-determined internal guidelines. This individual will work closely with the internal business and legal team to move business forward while protecting the organization’s interests. The Contract Manager will work on development of direct reports, lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders, and assist with process improvements.

Responsibilities: 

Internal Support

  • Review, redline, and negotiate contracts.
  • Act as liaison between organization’s business team and legal team.
  • Reviews/drafts partner third party information to ensure proper contracts are in place
  • Assists with managing team policies and procedures

Partner Support

  • Maintain contractual knowledge of specialized lines of business (locums, non-clinical, per diem, government, etc.)
  • Manages relationships with key stakeholders and ensures resolution of issues
  • Actively participate in meetings necessary to finalize contractual obligations.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with development and training of team member(s) and other internal business units
  • Develops strategies and aligns work to achieve goals
  • Ensures accuracy of agreements
  • Manage entire contract process from start to execution
  • Handles projects, as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Paralegal or contract management certification preferred
  • 4+ years of contract experience strongly preferred
  • 1+ year(s) of personnel manager experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in a health care setting strongly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with legal terminology and contractual provisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and contract management software
