This is an engagement through Upwork's Hybrid Workforce Solutions (HWS) Team. Our Hybrid Workforce Solutions Team is a global group of professionals that support Upwork's business. Our HWS team members are located all over the world.
Work/Project Scope:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the client to help ensure the best outcome for the clients' jobs
  • Meet with and collaborate with hiring managers and executives from Fortune 1000 companies
  • Establish and maintain ongoing customer relationships with multiple hiring managers across multiple client companies
  • Proactively supervise customer activity and provide insights and solutions to our clients and our internal teams to improve outcomes
  • Encourage increased adoption of Upwork through a consultative sales process.
  • Respond to changes in client activity, coordinating with a dedicated team of sourcers, customer support reps, and Account Managers to ensure the client has everything they need to grow their business on Upwork
  • Plan and complete outbound client communications and service client inbound requests
  • Identify and capitalize on revenue-generating opportunities coming from clients in your portfolio
  • Actively solicit and respond to feedback from clients
  • Cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships within the Marketplace Success Team and across the Marketplace Business Unit
  • Identify opportunities for program optimization and communicate them to your manager

Must Haves (Required Skills):
  • Excellent client-facing, interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Must be able to persuade and influence.
  • Must be able to maintain trust and relationships with clients over time.
  • Must be comfortable tracking KPIs/metrics and responding as needed
  • Experience working in any of the following disciplines: Customer Success, Recruiting, Account Management, Project/Program Management or Customer Support (supervisor/lead level or higher)
  • Must feel comfortable working with leaders of all levels.
