Contracts Manager

Position Summary:

The Contracts Manager (QuartzBio) will be responsible for drafting the scope and budget for customer and vendor contracts, facilitating the review process with legal, and managing the process for development of new contracts and change orders for the fast paced, high growth QuartzBio business.  The Contract Manager will also monitor contracts for upcoming closeout, extension, and renewal timeframes, and will communicate with stakeholders to enable decision-making for next steps.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

• Manage, monitor, and report on the contracting process with Precision Corporate Legal and QuartzBio Sales, Operations, Project Management, and Senior Leadership
• Draft/review Statements of Work (SOWs) or similar contract document to govern project-level scope for QuartzBio SaaS Solutions and Professional Services with pharma and biotech customers
• Draft/review Statements of Work (SOWs) or similar contract document to govern project-level scope for QuartzBio vendors or contractors as needed
• Support review process with Legal and Senior Leadership for SaaS Agreements or Master Service Agreements
• Develop and implement contract standards and templates
• Ensure accuracy and quality of contract deliverables such as SOWs and change orders
• Collaborate with Commercial Operations and Proposals on pricing and budgets as needed
• Translate content from QuartzBio proposals to QuartzBio contracts
• Provide guidance to QuartzBio teams regarding operational implications of contract terms
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and contracting standards
• Coordinate execution of agreements and keep track of expirations and other obligations
• Maintain electronic systems and file contracts according to company policies and standards
• Assist in designing and implementing policies and procedures for contracts management
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• 5 years relevant experience in contracts management

Other Required:

• Advanced proficiency in MS Word; and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to multi-task and meet time sensitive deadlines
• Ability to work cross-functionally with various team members at different levels of the organization
• Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language

Preferred:

• Experience with Smartsheets software
• Experience with Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint
• Experience with contract management for SaaS or software provider
