We deliver personalized experiences for employees to drive engagement across the employment lifecycle and enable measurable and better business outcomes.
Our Sales team is seeking a Corporate Account Manager to develop, maintain and grow existing client relationships to drive revenue for assigned mid-market accounts. The CAM will execute sales programs to generate new revenue from existing clients by upselling and cross-selling SilkRoad products and services.
Your contributions to SilkRoad will include:
  • Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within an existing client account base to meet sales revenue goals; evaluating client needs and proposes new solutions.
  • Developing professional sales proposals.
  • Leading sales presentations and product demonstrations of people centric solutions, through collaboration with Solution Engineers and other subject matter experts.
  • Generating sales and renewal quotes and contracts and leading negotiations of contracts.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive, effective long-term client relationships by acting as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries.
  • Ensuring clients are consistently satisfied with SilkRoad's products and services and facilitating resolution of issues.
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry and competitors, and SilkRoad's products; participating in SilkRoad product management meetings to stay up to date on current capabilities and future product enhancements.
  • Documenting prospecting activities, opportunities and client interactions within existing client base and creating accurate sales forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Delivering excellent client service in support of the company's goals and objectives.

Required Skills
  • Excellent client relationship building and problem resolution abilities.
  • Proficient with computer software including Salesforce and MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Successful presenter with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong solution selling skills aligning technology solutions to business value.
  • Demonstrates understanding of client's business drivers and risks.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.

Required Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of account management/sales experience is required. Experience in a related industry or SaaS is nice to have.
  • Proven track record of generating revenue through sales.
  • Demonstrated success in growing client business and meeting revenue targets/quotas.
  • Salesforce.com experience is preferred.
