How you can help make a better world of work

This is a truly unique opportunity to join our recently formed Corporate Development capability, currently part of the Business Operations & Strategy (aka BizOps) team. 

BizOps’ focus is on building the operating rhythm of the hyper-growth company that is Culture Amp to support strategy execution.

BizOps is also the go-to team for driving key cross-functional projects for the business. Past examples include our Series E & F fundraising rounds, our post-merger integrations, our product strategy, and our long term internationalization plan. 

This is an opportunity to join a new capability, and to build and develop our approach to strategic M&A. 

Once you’re in the seat, you will:

  • Have a key role in building the corporate development capability
  • Conduct ongoing industry, market and company-specific research
  • Support business development opportunities including monitoring and co-ordinating opportunity engagement
  • Develop investment theses for sectors and targets 
  • Co-ordinate and undertake due diligence, spinning up financial models and valuation analysis for potential transactions to underpin strategic theses
  • Co-ordinate and support deal execution
  • Monitor capital market activity
  • Work with the BizOps team to support other unrelated strategic projects in order to accelerate Culture Amp’s growth
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level and leaders across the entire business
  • Drive and co-ordinate comprehensive integration plans with internal stakeholders 

What You Bring to Our Camp:

  • You have 3+ years of experience in investment banking or in-house corporate development, ideally in TMT
  • You have deep familiarity with the end-to-end M&A process 
  • You are a strategic and commercial thinker, who combines research with the ability to decisively identify and recommend strategic opportunities 
  • You are quantitatively stellar, performing rapid financial analysis, valuation and financial modeling to draw executive level insights to drive strategic decisions
  • You are a structured problem solver and systems thinker who can execute quickly, even in ambiguity
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment and can operate without needing oversight 
  • You have an entrepreneurial, low ego “roll up your sleeves” mindset
  • You are a clear and logical communicator, with the ability to build influence with Exec and leaders to create a case for change
  • You are a team player and natural collaborator
  • You have an interest and understanding of private and public markets 
  • CFA, CA/CPA or MBA are a bonus!
