Credit Risk Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Complete intricate financials statement spreading to ensure financial ratios used are accurate to help understand the level of risk of buyers. Knowledgeable in company annual reports, 10Ks and 10Qs
• Must be familiar with how to analyze and rate a company’s profitability, liquidity, asset quality, cash flow, leverage position, and performance in the industry, previous Credit Analysis experience of commercial companies an advantage
• Constant communication with Credit Officers and Underwriters regarding financial spreading output, Obligor Risk Rating (ORR) summaries, updates that may affect considerations for review, and sharing of best practices
• Highly analytical – able to assess and analyze trends and changes involving profitability, liquidity, leverage, and credit histories and identify risks related to industry, management, and contingencies.
• Supports Underwriters and Credit Officers in buyer administration such as setting up a buyer’s account in TradEnable  (“Account Reservation”), identifying buyer DUNS, performing automated buyer credit limits (“Pack 1”) and gathering of buyer information and documents such as financial statements, credit reports, industry research and latest Company News Articles
