About the Role
The Global Principal Product Principal II is a model of Product Management excellence across the company. You will drive multiple important products or extremely complex features within a broader product, requiring extensive company coordination. The areas owned are highly strategic, very important to customers and often innovative. You will efficiently drive solutions to problems across organizations and disciplines without assistance and set the agenda for the product domain(s), driving program execution, working directly with multiple delivery teams. As a recognized product visionary you will propose, and often drive, new business or product strategies and mentor and informally lead cross-functional team members. You deal extremely well with ambiguity, driving areas with little direction. You are involved in the broader community outside of the company, and helps to bring in or set best practices. This individual will play a key role in interviewing and recruiting product mangers for the organization.
Responsibilities
- Helping build/develop a global Product Management team
- Developing in-depth knowledge of the entire Clinical Solutions Portfolio
- Identifying areas to cross-pollinate products as well as gaps
- Being the conduit between Product & Commercial Strategy
- Partnering closely with Portfolio Mangement and Product Management Operations. Will work with both to provide a strategic lens regarding Product Management and developing standards for future roadmaps
- Working in conjunction with Marketing to identify strategic tradeshows
- Partnering with Clinical Solutions Strategy to be the Product Management lead for M&As as needed
- Developing and owning Customer Research/User Group activities for Product Managers
- Working on ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements
- Have solid and extensive experience in Product Management.
- Experience identifying and championing multiple innovations that are developed and released into the marketplace.
- Have demonstrated deep expertise in product domain across multiple projects.
- Demonstrate experience with Health Information Technology, Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementations, consulting, configuration or product management
- Have a natural ability to engage, influence and build relationships with stakeholders and teams across the business
- Have experience of leading, managing and delivering multiple customer projects successfully
- Show the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and teams to resolve issues and to support implemented solutions
- Be an experienced problem solver, with a methodical approach to solving complex customer issues
- Be able to travel to regional sites and internationally up to 40% of your time
