Customer Care Representative

Moda Operandi is an e-commerce platform transforming the way people discover and shop for designer fashion. Through its innovative mix of commerce and content, Moda allows women to shop for what’s new and what’s next in designer fashion from the world’s leading emerging designers and luxury brands. 

The Customer Care Representative will be responsible for resolving customer concerns received by phone and email. You will do so by providing a premium level of service to our global customers by solving service issues and increasing customer conversion and retention. This role would suit individuals who are superior communicators and keen problem solvers with a calm demeanor. Previous customer service experience is required.

This is a remote position that can be conducted from most areas of the contiguous USA. With Moda Operandi's headquarters being based in New York, working hours are based on Eastern Time. Start times are staggered throughout the morning from 8-11am.

Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

• Respond to clients in an efficient, friendly, and professional manner over the phone or email 
• Handle numerous client inquiries promptly, accurately and efficiently
• Accurately and confidently communicate order information, policies and procedures
• Display a positive attitude and work with integrity when dealing with clients, consignors, and co-workers
• Troubleshoot and resolve product/service issues and concerns
• Document and update client records based on interactions
• Maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
• Liaise with other internal departments to ensure issues affecting customer orders and returns are resolved

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in Customer service required
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Tech savvy - ability to learn multiple software and systems easily
• Extremely detail oriented
• Ability to problem solve and de-escalate concerns
• Flexible availability including weekends.
• Note: During peak periods the work schedule may fluctuate.
